One of the many things I love about Shoreham is the farmers’ market, which is held at the end of our street on the second Saturday of every month. It’s a great place to get tasty breads, veggies and pies, but the thing I like most is the fact that two roads are completely closed for it, and hundreds of people turn out every month.
It’s a mini-festival of foodstuffs every four weeks, with some wonderful smells and background music provided by a local jazzz band. Even our MP turns out for a street surgery between 10-12.
